Mzimba Phase 1 Sampling Results
Updated geological interpretation following regional soils and shallow pit testing
Mzimba Exploration Highlights
• A systematic Phase 1 exploration programme has been completed at Mzimba, progressing
from historical data review and XRD mineralogical verification to regional soil sampling and
shallow pit testing.
• Historical TiO₂ anomalies were confirmed to contain rutile by XRD.
• Follow-up work comprised 149 regional soil samples and 33 pit-channel samples, with
magnetic and non-magnetic heavy-mineral fractions analysed by XRF.
• The soils define titanium enrichment over a wider area than the original XRD points, including
two broad surface rutile-equivalent responses of approximately 16×2km and 13×2km, with
peak calculated rutile-equivalent values of 0.69-0.71% and 0.61-0.70%, respectively.
• Magnetic titanium exceeds calculated rutile-equivalent in 112 of 149 soil samples. The working
interpretation is now an ilmenite-dominant residual titanium system with localised rutile, rather
than a high-grade natural rutile occurrence with minimal ilmenite.
• Shallow pits (generally to 5-6m) did not demonstrate high-grade rutile grade persistence with
depth.
• The new data refines the Company’s understanding of the mineralisation style at Mzimba. The
project warrants a targeting reassessment before any next-phase work is designed. Near-term
capital and technical priority remains focused on Cameroon.

Chief Executive Officer, Cliff Fitzhenry, commented:
"Phase 1 was designed to test whether the early XRD rutile confirmations represented a continuous,
high-grade residual rutile system. The soils show titanium enrichment over a wider footprint than those
first points, with rutile present but subordinate to magnetic titanium across most of the grid. Pit channels
did not lift rutile grade with depth.
That is a different geological picture from the one implied by the initial mineralogical work alone. We
will use the new assemblage and spatial data to reassess the model and targeting before committing
to a further programme at Mzimba. In the meantime our field and capital focus remains on Cameroon."

Updated Interpretation of Mzimba Results
The Company’s initial XRD work confirmed the presence of rutile in selected anomalous soil samples.
At that stage the extent, continuity and titanium-mineral assemblage across the Mzimba licences were
not known. Subsequent regional soils, magnetic / non-magnetic fraction analysis and shallow pit testing
were undertaken to test whether the initial rutile occurrences represented a broader, continuous rutile-
dominant system. The follow-up programme confirmed that rutile is present at Mzimba, with several
localised surface anomalies. Those anomalies sit inside a more extensive titanium response that is
predominantly magnetic (ilmenite-equivalent).
The current interpretation is a residual / eluvial heavy-mineral setting in weathered Irumide Belt gneiss,
in which tropical weathering has concentrated titanium minerals in the near-surface profile. Within that
setting, ilmenite is the dominant titanium phase at the scale of the wide-spaced 2km soil grid, with rutile
occurring as localised surface lenses. Shallow pit testing of selected anomalies did not demonstrate
the grade persistence required to move immediately to a drill programme. That conclusion is specific to
the rutile-dominant discovery thesis tested in Phase 1. Titanium enrichment has nonetheless been
mapped across a wider area than the initial XRD points.
What the soil results show
Regional soils were collected on an approximate 2km × 2km grid from residual regolith. Heavy-mineral
concentrates were magnetically split and both fractions analysed by XRF at the Geological Survey
Department, Zomba.
Calculated rutile-equivalent is localised. Two of the more coherent surface responses are on the order
of 16×2km and 13×2km, with peaks of 0.69-0.71% and 0.61-0.70% rutile-equivalent (Figure 1; Table
3). Mean soil rutile-equivalent is approximately 0.08%, with a large population of samples at or near
detection.
Calculated ilmenite-equivalent is more widespread and reaches materially higher values (soil mean
approximately 0.55%, maximum 3.37%). Magnetic titanium exceeds rutile-equivalent in 112 of 149
samples. That contrast is the principal reason the geological model has been updated.
What the pits show
Thirty-three 1m channel samples were collected from hand-dug pits sited proximal to historical TiO₂
anomalies, generally to 5–6m depth. Calculated rutile-equivalent in pit channels peaks at 0.10% (PIT03,
0-1m - Table 2) and is commonly at or below 0.08% in the upper metres, falling further or remaining
negligible with depth in several pits. Magnetic titanium is again the stronger signal in the majority of
intervals assayed.
The pits were a test of near-surface persistence and not used as a substitute for drilling. They do not
support an immediate rutile-focused drill programme on the Phase 1 anomalies.

programme. The rutile response is localised, whereas the ilmenite-equivalent response is more widespread and reaches
materially higher values.

are confirmed and geologically consistent with the regional results, but do not define a continuous licence-scale rutile system.

Next Steps
The Company will reassess the Mzimba geological model and targeting using the Phase 1 assemblage
and spatial dataset before any next-phase work is designed. That reassessment will consider whether
any further work is justified, and if so on what commodity and at what scale including whether rutile
remains the primary target or whether titanium more broadly should be treated as the exploration thesis.
No drilling is planned at Mzimba pending that reassessment, with near-term capital and technical
resources directed to the Company’s Cameroon projects. A decision on the three Mzimba exploration
licences (EL0784, EL0732 and EL0783) will follow that reassessment and the Company’s broader
portfolio priorities.

Section 1 Sampling Techniques and Data
Criteria Explanation Comment
Sampling techniques Nature and quality of sampling (eg cut
channels, random chips, or specific
specialised industry standard
measurement tools appropriate to the
minerals under investigation, such as
down hole gamma sondes, or handheld
XRF instruments, etc). These examples
should not be taken as limiting the broad
meaning of sampling.
Include reference to measures taken to
ensure sample representivity and the
appropriate calibration of any
measurement tools or systems used.
Aspects of the determination of
mineralisation that are Material to the
Public Report. In cases where ‘industry
standard’ work has been done this would
be relatively simple (eg ‘reverse
circulation drilling was used to obtain 1 m
samples from which 3 kg was pulverised
to produce a 30 g charge for fire assay’).
In other cases more explanation may be
required, such as where there is coarse
gold that has inherent sampling problems.
Unusual commodities or mineralisation
types (eg submarine nodules) may
warrant disclosure of detailed information.
Pit Channel sampling
• Channel samples were collected from
pits excavated proximal to 6 historical
TiO2 anomalous soil samples
• Pits were hand dug.
• Samples were collected at consistent
1 m intervals
• Industry-standard practice was used in
the processing of samples for assay.
Soil sampling
• Soil samples were collected using a
shovel.
• Sampling targeted the residual regolith
horizon to best represent geochemical
signatures.
• Organic topsoil was first removed, and
samples were collected from 50–70 cm
depth below this layer. Each sample
weighed approximately 4-6 kg.
• Sampling sites were carefully selected
to avoid disturbed areas, including
zones of active erosion and any man-
made features.
• Industry-standard practice was used in
the processing of samples for assay
• 145 soil samples and 35 pit samples
were collected whilst 2 were discarded.
Drilling techniques Drill type (eg core, reverse circulation,
open-hole hammer, rotary air blast, auger,
Bangka, sonic, etc) and details (eg core
diameter, triple or standard tube, depth of
diamond tails, face-sampling bit or other
type, whether core is oriented and if so,
by what method, etc).
• No drilling was conducted
Drill sample recovery Method of recording and assessing core
and chip sample recoveries and results
assessed.
Measures taken to maximise sample
recovery and ensure representative
nature of the samples.
Whether a relationship exists between
sample recovery and grade and whether
sample bias may have occurred due to
preferential loss/gain of fine/coarse
material.
Soil sampling
• Organic topsoil was first removed, and
samples were collected from 50–70 cm
depth below this layer. Each sample
weighed approximately 4–6 kg.
• GPS coordinates recorded at each site
using handheld GPS (±5 m accuracy).
Channel sampling
• Sample information was recorded at the
time of sampling
• GPS coordinates recorded at each site
using handheld GPS (±5 m accuracy).

Logging Whether core and chip samples have
been geologically and geotechnically
logged to a level of detail to support
appropriate Mineral Resource estimation,
mining studies and metallurgical studies.
Whether logging is qualitative or
quantitative in nature. Core (or costean,
channel, etc) photography.
The total length and percentage of the
relevant intersections logged.
• Sample information was recorded at
the time of sampling
• GPS coordinates recorded at each site
using handheld GPS (±5 m accuracy).
Sub-sampling
techniques and sample
preparation
If core, whether cut or sawn and whether
quarter, half or all core taken.
If non-core, whether riffled, tube sampled,
rotary split, etc and whether sampled wet
or dry.
For all sample types, the nature, quality
and appropriateness of the sample
preparation technique.
Quality control procedures adopted for all
sub-sampling stages to maximise
representivity of samples.
Measures taken to ensure that the
sampling is representative of the in situ
material collected, including for instance
results for field duplicate/second-half
sampling.
Whether sample sizes are appropriate to
the grain size of the material being
sampled.
Soil Sampling:
• A sample weighing approximately 4-6 kg
was collected from each site, targeting
residual material
• Organic material was removed prior to
sampling to avoid contamination.
• Samples were bagged and tagged on
site with unique sample IDs.
• Samples were split into a 1kg
representative sample using a rifle
splitter
• The samples were dried for an accurate
primary dry weight
• Samples were panned for HM
concentrate
• HM concentrate was sent to GSD of
Malawi in Zomba for oven drying,
magnetic separation and XRF analysis
Pit Channel sampling

Quality of assay data
and laboratory tests
The nature, quality and appropriateness
of the assaying and laboratory procedures
used and whether the technique is
considered partial or total.
For geophysical tools, spectrometers,
handheld XRF instruments, etc, the
parameters used in determining the
analysis including instrument make and
model, reading times, calibrations factors
applied and their derivation, etc.
Nature of quality control procedures
adopted (eg standards, blanks, duplicates,
external laboratory checks) and whether
acceptable levels of accuracy (ie lack of
bias) and precision have been
established.
• Sample analysis was performed by the
GSD of Malawi.
• HM conc were oven dried for 12hours
• Magnetic separation was performed on
HM conc and a magnetic and non-
magnetic fraction was produced
• Magnetic and non-magnetic fraction
were analysed using XRF
Verification of sampling
and assaying
The verification of significant intersections
by either independent or alternative
company personnel.
The use of twinned holes.
Documentation of primary data, data entry
procedures, data verification, data storage
(physical and electronic) protocols.
Discuss any adjustment to assay data.
• No third-party verification recorded.
• No twinned boreholes were drilled.
• No adjustments to data have been
recorded.
Location of data points Accuracy and quality of surveys used to
locate drill holes (collar and down-hole
surveys), trenches, mine
